The weather forecast from tomorrow onwards is “l’automne s’annonce”. Rain, low temperatures and perhaps even snow on the mountain tops. So here is my last hurrah to the far too brief summer we have had this year.
Swiss Mountain Peaks
Alimentarium Museum, Vevey
Fake Beach in Vevey
Hotel du Lac, as in Anita Brookner’s novel
No lake this, but the sea
Truly beautiful, Marina Sofia! I love the sunset ‘photo by the sea.
That was Greece… and sadly, I didn’t get to see it this summer…
There is an alimentarium museum? Oh, I would love to go there!
It’s organised by Big Bad Industry in the shape of Nestle, but it’s a fantastic hands-on experience, especially for kids. You can walk through the digestive system, attend cookery workshops etc.
Walking through the digestive system would be worth the price of admission! Perhaps even in spite of it supporting big bad industry
Love the fork!
Thanks for always offering a fresh idea and perspective – http://choppingpotatoes.wordpress.com/2013/10/09/its-the-most-wonderful-team-member-readership-award/
