Thinking, writing, thinking about writing…

Cosy reading nooks and home libraries

It’s a dull, cloudy day and I know I should be going up above the clouds to see the sun and some skiing action. But it is so much more tempting to curl up with a book, especially if you happen to be in one of the places below…

Or, if you are after something a little more ambitious, here is Christian Louboutin’s holiday home and its tempting library.

And finally, the outlandish, futuristic and exciting Walker Library in Connecticut. Star Wars with books!

  1. Makes my small humble little book shelf look ordinary, oh to have a place like in one of your photos.

  2. Oh, these are all so tempting, Marina Sofia! How could you not want to spend the day reading? Thanks for sharing them. I’ll have the first one, with the desk for writing space as well as the reading hideaway, please. :-)

  3. The huge sofa and sloping roof for me please…

  4. These are gorgeous: I especially love the little hideaway nooks.
