For those who need some cheering up today… more escapism than ever… or are simply thinking of buying property abroad and becoming a non-dom. It’s a sunny day, so winter may finally be over, it’s 70 years since VE Day, it’s a holiday here in France.

  1. Don’t tempt me – the political results today are enough to make me want to flee the country, and those chalets look pretty appealing….. :s

  2. Excuse me, not sure I gave permission for the ‘photos of my little place in Zermatt to be published 😉 😉 – In all seriousness, these are beautiful, Marina Sofia – thanks for sharing. Nice for some very necessary escaping…

  3. Oh what lovely homes. I’m about to go organise my VE Day Tea Dance here in Northern Ireland so I’m hoping the site of lovely people doing a thing they love will cheer me up!

  4. They all look wonderful particularly the last one. It is Liberation Day here in Jersey today – it took an extra day for the Islanders to be liberated so big celebrations are due later to celebrate.
