These modern villas are often an architect’s wet dream, although I am never sure how comfortable they are for the people who have to live there. However, there is no denying that they have the WOW factor!

They don’t look the most homely of places do they? I can’t imagine living with that much glass! They are stunning though.
I have to have a house with trees around me and the chirping and song of birds! Nothing more relaxing than listening to the birds at dawn! Treehouse is my choice!
All of them, please. I love all that space and light but then there’s the sleep problem. I need to be able to push a button to turn the bedroom windows black.
Thinks: cost of heating, how to keep clean – I am so boring!
And here I am living in a working-class flat! Well, I don’t know if any of those houses would be very comfortable, but I am willing to be a little bit uncomfortable for the sake of owning (and using) a swimming pool… Oh, the sacrificies I’m willing to make!
Oh, these are all incredible, Marina Sofia! I can see what you mean about the WOW factor. I’m especially drawn to the villa on the beach, but they’re all amazing.
They’re all visually stunning, aren’t they, though not necessarily comfy to live in. But that conservatory is for some reason very appealing… 🙂
They do definitely have wow factor but I think the only one I would even consider living in is the treehouse one.
Yes, they are not really designed with the end-user in mind, are they?
I’m afraid they don’t really appeal to me as homes at all – maybe as hotels, though…
Absolutely – they are more of a feat of construction than pleasant, cosy spaces for living.
I’m with Kaggsy on this one, the conservatory appeals – however, it does depend on the proximity of other conservatories nearby. Tree house is rather fine, but, again, must be out of view of others. I suppose the cost of these, no doubt, mean that nearest neighbours will be far far away. They don’t exactly look like homes to live in though, more like preening places to see and be seen in.
