Friday Fun: A Room of One’s Own

Although I am the least artistic person in the world, I think an artist’s studio would be a very inspiring place for a writer to work in. Here are some places which caught my eye in the past.

So much light https://findingtimetowrite.wordpress.com/2016/10/28/friday-fun-artists-studios-2/

More achievable, everyday studio inspiration https://findingtimetowrite.wordpress.com/2017/03/31/friday-fun-artists-studios-can-inspire-writers-too/

If necessary, I’ll take these away by force! https://findingtimetowrite.wordpress.com/2018/05/11/friday-fun-studios-for-non-artists/

Even when they are cluttered, there is something peaceful about studios https://findingtimetowrite.wordpress.com/2018/07/06/friday-fun-studios-for-those-who-dont-like-studios/

Last but not least, when art, interior design and poetic inspiration combine https://findingtimetowrite.wordpress.com/2014/11/21/friday-fun-artists-studios/

  1. There is something about these studios, Marina Sofia. They just…feel so creative, that you can imagine how the writing would flow.

  2. Timely – I’ve been wondering lately if I should put more care into the place I sit for so much of the day – in front of a computer. Would I write better if I had a more congenial environment around me?
